Thank you for purchasing the Easy Land Radio! This radio makes it simple to set up and configure your land's music stream. It's packed with features and guides to ensure you have full control over your land music.

When you first rez the radio, the floating text above it will indicate whether it's properly configured for your land. Because land in Second Life can be owned by a group, the radio often needs to be DEEDED to the group that owns the land. This is the only part of setup that can be tricky if you haven't done it before.

To deed the radio to a group (on group-owned land): Right-click the radio and select "Edit." On the "General" tab, check the box labeled "Share," then click the "Deed" button. Confirm by selecting "Yes." If the Deed button remains grayed out, you don't have permission to deed objects to the land. In that case, you may need to give the radio to your landlord or a group officer to deed it properly. Better yet, ask your landlord to give you deeding privileges. :)

Radio Station Updates
----------------------
This radio makes it easy to enjoy your favorite music without interruptions from dead streams. It automatically updates periodically from our server, which keeps a fresh list of stations. The reality is that ShoutCast stations have short life spans, so regular updates prevent your list from filling with dead stations. The radio updates automatically on rez and can also be updated manually from the options menu. To play a station, simply select a category (genre) or choose from the full list.

Enter Your Own Radio Station
----------------------------
You can enter your own radio URL directly via the menu. This is helpful if you lack permission to set the parcel's music stream or prefer an easier setup.

Custom Radio Stations
---------------------
You can add your own favorite stations! Simply place their URLs in the notecard named "custom" inside the radio. You can also customize menu button names and station titles by following the "custom" notecard instructions. If you have great stations to share, click "Suggest" and we may include them in future automatic updates.

Our SimCaster Stream
--------------------
SimCaster offers its own stream, a curated mix of downtempo EDM, House, Chill, Ambient, and beautiful vocals, featuring the "MDB Beautiful Voices" collection. It plays 24/7. Select the "Default" button on the main menu to access it.

Radio Remote
------------
You can place multiple radio remotes anywhere on your parcel to control the stream. This way, you can change stations without being near the main radio.

Radio HUD
---------
Even better, control your music directly from your screen! Rez the radio HUD and let it auto-attach (if land is individually owned), or "Wear" / "Add" it from inventory (if group-owned). If you have multiple Easy Land Radios, you can have multiple HUDs, each controlling a different radio.

Security
--------
You can secure your radio so only you can operate it, or allow your group members to control it. By default, anyone can operate the radio. All updates come securely over the web for maximum protection. Our servers have been running nearly as long as Second Life itself.

Report a Dead Station
---------------------
If a station stops working, it's easy to report it with one click. This helps us replace it quickly and keep your radio's list fresh, protecting your investment in one of SL's best land radios.
