2. "[cambia] Rain (Fantasy)" is the rain object for fantasy purposes. (2LI Materials enabled)
3. "[cambia] Umbrella holder (rezzer)" is the umbrella giver and rain controller. (1LI + 4LI rezzed Umbrella)
4. "[cambia] Rain HUD" is the controller for the owner only.
5. "[cambia] Rain HELP" is this notecard.

INSTALLATION:
1. Rez the rain object "[cambia] Rain (Natural)" anywhere you want on the ground (we suggest you stay in edit mode while you do this because editing transparent prims can be diffucult).
2. Hold down the shift key and drag the item to make a copy of it wherever you need it. Make sure you have transparency on in case you need to. (CTRL+ALT+T will turn on the transparent prims).
3. When you finish covering the area where you want rain, you can close edit mode, wear "[cambia] Rain HUD" and test to make sure everything works properly.
5. After the area that you covered is working, you can delete the unused script by clicking the red button of the HUD.
6. You can rez the "[cambia] Umbrella holder (rezzer)" if you want.

Why should you REZ the "[cambia] Umbrella holder (rezzer)"?

1. Because it is beautiful.
2. It controls the rain area by touching the umbrella holder and set access to Owner\Group\Public.
3. It gives an umbrella to anyone who touches umbrella*.
*NOTE: When you grant permissions to the umbrella it will attach to your avatar automatically. Once your avatar is wearing the umbrella, it will open and close on touch.

We have worked many hours to make this product as easy to use as possible by eliminating a rezzer and other unwieldy systems.
We hope to have achieved our goal.

Should've read the reviews...

This rain would be perfect if the base was a square, so I could line it up better with structures, and if the sounds could be disabled for my own ambience, or if the lightning would sync properly with multiple rain objects put down. With all three of these issues, it's just not a usable product, honestly.

Sad, I really wanted to like this rain!

This is a great rain rezzer!!!!! Very easy to use and I think it's the best one on SL. It's perfect. It has great rain, lighting is amazing, ground cover, thunder. If someone give a bad review they don't know what they are talking about. CeeCee Lavendel

i am not lobster happy
full star empty star empty star empty star empty star Posted September 01, 2022 by johnnyloser

this thing has made me very angry an unhealthy amount of times
the lack of options is infuriating
notably in the sound department
if I place three tiles of rain to cover an area, all three of those tiles are playing the same sound thus leaving the same sound file playing three times over and sounding like poo poo garbage
the fact that a 399 L product that comes with a hud and only gives you a SINGLE option that's ON or OFF is abysmal
i had planned to just mute the sounds and add my own rain ambience to counter the overlay of sounds once i saw the hud but to my surprise, the hud was only an on and off switch and no option to mute
i would like to acknowledge the fact that the hud actually synchronizes all tiles (so synchs with the thunder/lightning) but the sound doesn't come from just one but ALL of them making it sounds nowhere near to relaxing
this thing works GREAT if it's just a single tile (though still lacks many options)
if anyone has a workaround please let me know
for now it gets a big stinky lobster dump for a rating

Holy crap~!

I had rather low expectations for this item since most rain generators on second life are just.. crappy if I'm frankly honest. But this!! This is by far the best rain generated item set in S.L hands down. Not only does it come with some nice bonus accessories, but you can toggle the thunderstorm off & on whenever you see fit, and you can set up where it rains too! And there are even rain & puddle effects to match! I think the best part of it all though is the fact that it's low land impact, because any items that were done by previous builders that are close to matching this quality all made really prim-heavy objects that are generally hard to manage. So yeah, definitely 5 stars from me, I'd give more if I could~!

This is the best on the market, worth the price compare to the cheap one. and it made my rainy season perfect.
