Thank you for purchasing the Random Linden Giver.
This tool is designed to give your club and/or events a special incentive for everyone. This tool is perfect to fit the sploder family you may own.
Setup Guide:
To start using your RLG, first you must rezz it and accept debit permissions. This is crucial otherwise the ball will not be able to give money to other residents. Next, right click the RLG ball and go to Edit. Navigate to the content tab. Here you will find everything that makes the RLG work. The only thing you should worry about is the 'config' notecard. This notecard will allow you to configure the RLG to your own preference.
When opening the 'config' notecard you will see the following...
payout=1
seconds=30
group=yes
We shall start with the first line until we have covered each line within the notecard.
=====================================================================
payout=1
This line is self-explanatory. The default value is 1 meaning the RLG ball will distribute 1 Linden Dollar to the random lucky person picked when the timer reaches zero. Change this line to suit your own preference (don't set it too high, keep it within a safe range to ensure you don't distribute too much money).
seconds=30
This line determines how many seconds until the RLG ball pays out at the end of each cycle. By default it takes 30 seconds. 300 or more is recommended.
group=yes
By default the RLG ball is set for group only. This can be changed by using group=no instead. using the 'no' setting will allow the ball to pay anyone in its radius regardless if they are in the group.
=====================================================================
Final:
To start using the RLG ball once it's fully configured. Simply re accept the debit permission upon saving the new configuration settings. Then touch the ball and select 'Start'. This will begin the cycle based on your settings within the 'config' notecard. The ball will continuously cycle. Unless you touch the ball again and select 'Stop'. Selecting 'Reset' will reset the ball and reinitialize the settings.
