Ranging Pole

Used to mark out a section of land with poles showing their relationship to the first pole.

The float text above the Ranging Pole does not update while the pole is moving in edit mode but will update as soon as it stops moving.
Can not work across different regions.
Scripts MUST be running in the parcel to work.
May not work across different parcels if "See and chat with avatars on this parcel" is not enabled to allow script messages to be sent to the first pole. What should work is, always rez new ranging poles from the first pole then move them to other parcels you have rez rights on even with chat disabled on either parcel.

*** As the main pole rezzes out further ranging poles it must have at least 0.25M space on the + Y axis

Rez the pole and position it at the corner you wish to mark out.
Touch it and another pole is rezzed with float text showing distance to first pole. (0.25M away on y axis)
Move this pole and it will update it's position with respect to the first pole.

You can now touch the first pole again for a second pole referenced the first pole OR touch the pole you have just placed and a new pole will rez from the first pole but it's position information is referenced the pole you just touched.
You can keep rezzing new poles and moving them within an area, each one either referenced the first pole, or any of the other poles subsequently rezzed out.
