This weapon fires semi-automatic only. It has a 6 round cylinder with a 3 second reload.
The weapon is intended to work well with simulated combat systems that detect physical projectiles and standard SL damage.
It is designed after a futuristic revolver firing very large bullets.
Thigh holster included.

Beautiful Design
Beautiful Design, option to make the barrel on the gun longer, laser sight turns on when aiming in first person, and you can make parts of the holster invisible by selecting It's face If It doesn't fit your hip entirely.
beautiful~
i love the design and it really do what it should do. <3
Need Some Work
the animation I have a issue with... it dose not save the animation settings I set for it for example when I turn the animation on but I turn off the idle when I die or teleport somewhere it puts the idle back on I like the gun and the animations but I don't like the idle stance due to if I use it I have to keep click the wide set just to make it look right other wise it looks like one hand on the gun and the other one is cupping the air or something else... if that could be fixed I would give a 5 star but those two are big issues when the price is 1,000L
Nice! Keep up the good work!
I disagree with several of the previous reviewers and think the price matches the quality of the gun! The model is clean and poly conservative. The scripts are swift, efficient and try to break the norm of accessibility. The textures are not ripped from any source. And it fits the bill of the consistent original sci-fi theme Rapture has been keeping (one of the nicest sci-fi themed developers out there).
Trust me or not, I've analyzed bought plenty of generic guns for a higher price as a previous SL combat community administrator for a much lower standard of quality. This is an easy L$1,000 to spend! Enjoy :]
Rapture's HR-22 Heavy Revolver
Model: The model design, while it's sci-fi fictitious, stays true to revolver components such as the hammer, latch, both front & rear iron sight, six-cylinder with modeled & loaded large caliber hollow-point cartridges, optional compensator, and hinge-point cylinder reloading during the reload animation. A lot of work went into this sleek model.
Textures: The textures are what's expected from Rapture quality: meticulous high quality, yet they're efficient and load quick. This revolver is brushed dark metal, it has it's model engraving as well as serial number. The holster has great textures as well and matches the gun. It's dark, so it can match with many outfits, which I like!
Sounds: High quality sounds here. High-caliber revolvers are notorious for packing a punch, and the sounds reflect this output. I like that the reloading sound has the addition of the expended shells.
Scripting: Efficient & low latency scripting performs well in combat sims. Comes with tons of customization options including LED color, laser sight customization, compensator, animation toggles, shoulder-width adjustment, and more. The gun is command controlled, however holster is 1-click draw/holster and clicking the gun will bring up the menu. Comes with gestures for commands like draw and reload.
Animations: The animations co-operate well with AOs. Firing yields a realistic kickback. The animations auto-refresh so that your hands stay in position while walking/running. These animations can be toggled too.
Final thoughts: Great gun all around, I'm a fan of revolvers and a lot of work went into this one!
High quality.
The quality of this gun is right up there. To me the piece speaks of science fiction with the nuance of film noir, where the revolver is your best friend. It's definitely more of a show-piece than anything else.
You're buying this one to look cool with it at your hip, not to pewpew across a sim.
