Most Mesh in Second Life needs adjustments to your avatar shape. Alphas are included but the nature of Mesh is for some adjustment needed for it to fit well. Unrigged Mesh allows you to edit the mesh item, resulting in fewer adjustments to your avatar.

In turn, mesh offers some of the most realistic movement and texturing available in second life.
