By popular demand,it comes now with a configuration notecard with all you'll need to customize light as you want.
Lights and flames now come on individual scripts each on this new version. So, we will talk about fire as 2 different things; flame and light .
This mean that in case you have your own flames ,you can use only the flicking light script with all its features

Scripts inside this pack can set up some parameters through a CN (CN=Configuration Notecard) Check this to see the parameters that will be able to change along the different scripts of this product.

(We will use CN for CONFIGURATION NOTECARD)

*USE THIS SCRIPT WITH "CANDLES FLAME SCRIPTS

It should go along with a CN (CN=configuration Notecard) if you want to set up its parameters, otherwise it will set up by default this way;

(you can leave it without notecard and it still will works well)

You can use this with your products, too. If you made or just have a flame you like more than mine, just drag it along with its CN and sync it with them.

Note that SMALLER lights have to be fairly close to walls or other objects to light up. Also, you can only see it if it's near you, as SL lightning rules works, otherwise you will not sense it.

I recommended use highlighted textures, and being next to the emitting prim .

BLANK - texture reflect lights well;
BLACK - texture will not show almost anything .

Some reasons why it might not work.

- You are too far apart from the illuminated object.

- You are not on night. To turn it on, go ( World / Force Sun /Midnight ) .

- You have not set the Nearby Local Lights option on, ( Ctrl + P / Graphics / CUSTOM / Nearby Local Lights ) .

- Walls, ceilings, floors or other objects may have "Full Bright" selected. Turn it off.

- Walls, ceilings, floors or other objects may have textures that are too dark.

-There are nearby lights which are illuminating the area of its ratio center, so it can't show its own lightning. Maybe you have light on yourself, too :).
