Refugees Matter T-Shirt - Teal Version 1

We have thousands of refugees coming to the U.S. and thousands more have already flooded into European countries from war-torn areas such as Syria.

There is a lot of fear in the world surrounding these refugees because they do not share our religion and way of life, but I hope that we can remember that all of us are human first and foremost. These people are running for their lives and have left behind everything they know, and all that they own, on a remote chance that they might make it to a safer place. Unfortunately, they are not always encountering welcoming arms.

Sandra Tsiligeridu is an amazing woman that saved a drowning refugee in the ocean near Greece. He had jumped from his raft, attempting to retrieve a lost oar, but he was not able to make it back to the boat. The rest of the passengers made it safely to shore, believing that he had drowned. Sandra doesn't think she is a hero, but I think she is. Her words at the end of this news report (link below) are what the whole world needs to hear, and I have placed them on the back of this shirt to share. The shirts are free of charge.
