The Komet was manufactured in West Germany between 1957 and 1962 Each set was handcrafted from Wenge and Maple. The cabinet was said to be reminiscent of a sailing boat, and the "sail" containing the TV unit could be rotated approx 20 degrees left or right. The base configuration as used here was Turntable, TV Tuner and Stereo Radio.
