Rey's Plaster 14 and 15 are a huge series of textures suitable for many settings: medieval, rustic, urban grunge and even posh modern. They are all realistic repesentations an uneven wall covered in plaster, typical of the looks of plastered natural stones, adobe or wattle-and-daub and also of course modern imitations of such walls.

The series includes textures with two different levels of softness, each in several colors and each of them again with several shading/grunginess options.

Plaster 14 is a semi-soft plaster. It has a little bit of roughness to the surface and is sutibale for exterior walls and for itnerior accentuations (for chimneys and such)

Plaster 15 is a soft plaster with a very smooth surface, perfect for interior walls and also for antique (that is pre-medieval) and heavily weathered exterior walls.

All color options should be suitable for any purpose although you proably don't want to use the green ones for antique buildings. The textures take light in-world coloring quite well so you can create your own colors if you like. Just don't overdo it, at least not if your'e using the shaded or grunged textures.

All textures are seamless (apart from the obvious limitations of the shaded/grunged ones) and repeat very, very well.

Each set in the series includes one softness/color option with no less than 11 variants, the plain one, nine different variants with shading, smudge or exposed stones along the top and/or bottom and one with a special shading for gables.

As if that wasn't long enough a presentation... (you don't really have to read this unless you want to)
Rey's Plaster 14 and 15 were made as a better alternative to the "HL2" plaster textures. HL2 textures are a large set of textures originally made as a game mod for Half Life 2. They were uplaoded to Second Life by several early texture merchants (incuding at least one that was later to become a big name) and since they are exceptionally well made, they soon became very poopular. They do have some derious flaws though. There aren't that many of them for a start and they've been overused to death. The style is also a bit dated and the copies that are circulating in SL seem to be scaled up versions of low resolution ones, not takign advantage of the 512x512 resolution. As if that wasn't enough, there may also be some IP issues that have never been resolved. So we decided it was time for a replacement and while we were at it, why not try for an improved and more flexible alternative to Crazy Mole's Nautilus plaster textures too? Upgrading the works of two of the greatest texture artists we've ever seen, that's a tall order but I hope you agree we managed. (To avoid any misunderstanding, these textures are not directly based on any HL2 or Nautlius textures, they are only inspired by them. We used two certified open source textures for some parts: a Linda Kellie plaster texture buried deep in the dozens of layers that make up the basic plaster and an AGF81 texture used for the exposed stones. Everything else was made from scratch.)
