This is a 3D region radar using little avatar representations to show everyone in the region over a map, according to their positions.
The avatar representations take different shapes depending on sitting, walking, typing and flying. They update according to the status of the avatar so you can also see if they are busy or away. You can touch them and get some information like their position, script info, a link to their profile and, if they agree, their profile picture.
The radar can be scaled through its menu so you can adjust its size to your needs. The avatar representations adjust to the scale of the radar and the size of the avatars they represent.
The radar includes teleporter pads that you can place anywhere in the same region for people to teleport around. The pads are also represented on the radar automatically.
It's a tool particularly for sim owners because it can show everyone right away where everyone else is. At the same time, the teleporters shown on the map give visitors an overview of the place.
