To use add all to your current outfit, (portal to avatar center, gun to right hand, hud to any hud spot)
Once added, you can use the portal gun by selecting a location with back or next on the HUD and pressing the middle black button HUD to jump into the portal.
a world map will appear with the landmark highlighted, simply press "teleport" to complete.
If you want to cancel or are simply playing around, to exit the portal press the red screen area of the HUD
To add landmarks to the HUD, make sure they have short names, then simply drag and drop them onto the hud, it will reload in seconds with your new destination
To remove them righ click the hud, press edit, goto the contents tab, and delete the landmarks you want removed
The hud can be minimized for your convenience by pressing anywhere near the top of the hud, and restored by pressing the green plasma ball that appears in its place

Hands down best portal gun I've seen especially for just being a beta item. Only wish the option to teleport to friends would work, other than that its great.

As far as Rick & Morty inspired portal guns go, 8exy's got the most! Fantastic little device. I love using it to jump from my family members adjoining parcels. From the beach to the house to the space station orbiting above, this portal gun gets me there quick and in style. No more going through all the store landmarks to find where I want to go or having to use teleportation devices that have been rezed on the land. Just pull out my portal gun and I am off. Awesome buy for any Rick & Morty fan!
