Its long been an issue, or so I have noticed, that fighting on horseback in Spell Fire is rare. Is this because you end up with your horse falling through the ground on a swing of your sword? Perhaps so. Well, these weapons will aim to stop that and make horseback fighting popular, as it was back in the middle ages.
Knights and Heavy horse, not to mention persians, Mongals and Arabs all used horse to fight. They were fast, heavy and the rider was mounted high and out of reach of many weapons. Makes sence to bring horseback fighting into SpellFire.
In the pack, you will recieve 2 weapons and 2 sheaths.
Horseback. - The weapons used on horseback are marked as such. Simply, equip your horse, THEN the sword element, then the sheath. The scripts are full SF non modified versions so is the damage, so there should be no issues with using these weapons in many sims. Equiping the sheath last, provides the rider with a 'block', this is due to the way the version 2 scripts were written. (Version 4 horseback weapons will be released depending on popularity of these).
Once mounted on your steed simply draw your weapon and fight as you usualy would. You will notice, its a new style of fighting.
On Foot- Simply equip the standard (non horseback ) weapon and sheath. The weapon now turns into a 2 handed weapon.
Its as simple as that. Also available is a Spellfire Lance. Combining both, lance, then sword, was the way of the Knight. Practice this formation for a deadly effect on the battlefield.
