RK Gems are a Mesh Gem designed to use SL's texture parameter settings to provide a natural gem refraction
appearance. There was no texture used in this listings pic and the image was taken inworld. Although stunning
results can be achieved using textures. Each gem has up to 8 texture-able faces to apply different texture
parameter settings. This is a large kit including 3 Gems, 44 mounts as well as 4 helpful tools.

Advanced level building experience is recommended but not required. Working with Mesh and Nano Mesh is
very different than working with Prims, Sculpts and Nano Sculpts. Some techniques that work with Sculpt will not
work with Mesh. Included is an Instruction NC where I do provide in detail some differences and solutions that
I have found when working with the mesh gems.

For future surreptitious advertising even $ 520L demand. The logo can not be removed, unfortunately. I would have liked better before the comments read. Otherwise, the gems are beautiful.

Poorly designed
I've wanted to use this gem in its regular size for deco, but the logo ruins that option. What professional creator would put their own 3D logo in the middle of a product?? I equate logos on objects to internet ads in annoyance level. And I avoid purchasing if the logo is in the way or unworkable to hide.
However, if you use it as a super scaled down gem in jewelry, it's passable. The various geometric mesh face reflects shine in different angles, mostly on the top portion of the diamond. But the angle design is all wrong, where it's not a genuine diamond reflecting effect. You can play with the shine and glow all you want, but nothing will fix a poor design. The transparency will not work on this creation either. This is a terribly designed product for its price, and I would not recommend buying unless you aren't picky type.
Looked Pretty In the Ad....
I bought these thinking I was getting a high quality product. I've been building jewelry in SL for years. When I pulled out the diamond and started camming around it, you wouldn't believe my surprise, and horror and finding his store logo built right into the stone! Who does that?! And yes, I have had customers that fussy about how their stones look, so they would be just as floored as I was to find something like that. Very disappointed, to say the least.
If you're going to go that far, then don't advertise it as full perm, because doing that doesn't make it so.
And just like some of the other reviews, I found the stone to be too dark if you took it down too small. No amount of adjusting could fix this problem.
Useless in small size
It looks great as long it stays big, but in small (ring-fit) size it just looks as a dark dot. It doesnt matter how much you play with shininess and glow, the effect is totally gone once made smaller. To make it look acceptable from a distance, you have to set off shininess and add alot of glow. But when zoom closer, then it looks just as a white, bright dot.
Overall, there's nothing left of the effect once its stretched to jewelry size.
I purchased the trillion version as well, it has the same "dead dot" effect. Too bad.
Great Stones
I love these stones. They are great to work with. All my jewelry is created with these stones. If anybody has a problems then they are not working with the textures or glow or full bright. You have to know how to use all three of these to achieve a clairity of your stones.
