Riv's Docking System is my attempt to make SL boating a bit more realistic. Included in this package are cleats, a bollard, a docking ring, an anchor hawse pipe, a mooring bouy, and a mooring bit. All found in rl boating, and able to accomodate a wide range of docking and mooring combinations.
All objects are copy/mod. Scripts & textures are copy.
Using a a line particle emitter, they will "target" another cleat, bollard, mooring bouy, etc., and run a line to it. Since the emitters use a targeting system, with a very tight pattern (the line), they are low lag.
The devices are designed to placed and linked on your mod boat. Most are 1 prim, but some are 2 prims, and the mooring bouy is 3 prims. All mod, to allow you to size according to your vessel.
Most are set up to be an emitter and a target. Full setup instructions are included.
BE SURE TO INSPECT YOUR BOAT FIRST! YOU MUST CONSIDER THE SPOTS YOU WISH TO PUT THESE.
It must be mod.
If it is less than 32 prims, you must be able to 'replace' prims. You can not increase the number of prims over 31, or your boat may become disabled. Refunds can not be given if you purchased this system, and have a boat that this can not work with.
