The max height for the fish swimming is 8mt, but you can always rotate the rock a little to change the direction where the fish will swim and make it more horizontal or vertical as it suits best for your environment.

For the money, I felt this excelled, eclipsing far more expensive arrangements ala emitter based products; the angelfish rise in a delicately textured ballet and do not swarm mindlessly, rather lending just the correct "flavor notes" held an innocuously beauteous presence.
