This light is 1Li and C/M/NT. The scripts inside are no mod.
This item is useful for street, sidewalk, and business lighting. The light settings are adjustable, so you can set it to come on at SL dusk, and off again at SL sunrise.
As per a review on this item, it needs to be stated that the lighting and lighting menu are better accessed by clicking the metal portion of the light. The design of the metal band around the globe was chosen in order to allow more of that surface to be visually accessible for this reason.
The script is by Black Tulip, and her work is some of the best in SL.
You can change the glow of the light to another color or brightness, and also set permissions for who is allowed to use it, (all/group/owner only.)
If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an IM. Thanks! :)

So touching the globe makes it 3 levels of brightness as per the ad, but it doesn't actually emit any light.
For that you have to touch the bracket and know what you are doing with LL's light settings to get it to actually emit the light you want. And then if you turn the globe off, you have to click the bracket again to turn the light off. The two (presumably freebie) scripts don't talk to each other.
And there's no documentation for any of this.
If you know what you are doing and happen to like the mesh itself, you could script it yourself.
