The Rose Castle is really a huge build, and yet you will find that each room is carefully scaled to give you ease of furnishing, creating a comfortable and often intimate flow of living spaces.
** History **
Rose Castle was originally built in the 1100's as can be seen from the typically Norman style square towers on the back of the Castle, which are to this day, said to haunted by the Knights who patrolled them. However over the years, much of the rest of the Castle was left to crumble, leaving only the stone towers and a rough shell of foundations. In the 1600's the Castle was rebuilt, the two square towers remained intact, but the front sections of the building and the courtyard were completely re-modeled in the style of the Cambridge Cloisters and the Arched walkways and Minstrel Gallery were built. In 1920 Lady Danvish added the beautiful Deco Style Orangery at the back of the Castle.

Better than pictured... absolutely beautiful
I fell in love with this castle and then got it up and running and was DELIGHTED by some very very cool aspects of it that I will keep a secret. It is very large, but smaller in footprint that other castles I have seen. The stained glass windows are soooooooooo lovely. And it has the "cloisters" part of the building is simply lovely. I am using this as a modern home for my avi who I decided has royal heritage and just found out she inherited this glorious palace.
to the seller plz send me the steps to rose castle. as they are missing in package..
got the build but not the steps to the building .. if i had got the complete version of rose castle would have given five star rating..
I love it!
I had purchased the prototype years ago while it was a work in progress, and it was good.
I recently learned that there was a finished version, so I got a redelivery off the SL Marketplace and the new one is wonderful. I plan on using it as the center building in my elven forest.
