Round Beach Umbrella

-Shade folds down or opens up on a touch
-Shade folds down automatically at dusk
-and opens back up at dawn.
-Change to any one of 17 million colors
-Nine preset colors for easy color change

This umbrella can be changed into any one of 17 million colors (or one of 6 pre-faded beach colors). The top shade of the umbrella will fold up or open on a touch. The top automatically folds up a dusk and re-opens at dawn. The Umbrella can be purchased in several different designs: A parasol, a palm-like shape, a smooth or ribbed umbrella or a sea-star shape. (This umbrella is similar to an offsim umbrella but without the ability to move offsim, one less prim, and a lower price).

Controlling your Umbrella:
Just clicking on the top shade of the umbrella will cause it to fold up or unfold. Note that anyone, not just the owner, may click on the shade to change it. The top automatically folds up a dusk and re-opens at dawn. Dusk and dawn are determined from the simulator time and will not follow the environmental settings of your viewer. On some sims the sun is fixed in the sky and the umbrella will never perform an automatic operation. Dusk and dawn folding and unfolding may be delayed by up to 5 minutes.

Changing Color:
Only the owner may click on the pole of the umbrella to bring up a menu. (If anyone else clicks there, they are ignored). To reduce lag, the menu only listens for 20 seconds. If you do not use the menu in time it will disable itself and will not work. If this happens, the menu will ignore you, click on the pole and bring the menu up again. Menu options are:

WHITE GREY BLACK CYAN MAGENTA YELLOW RED GREEN BLUE
These are preset colors. Clicking on any of these will change the color of the top shade. These preset colors are pre-faded beach colors that are desaturated to look like they have been out in the sun for a while. For example, red is HTML #FF8080. If you want a brighter color, you can specify any color with the following button:

HTML This button allows you to change the color of the top shade to any one of 17 million 'html format' colors by entering them on the chat channel. First press the button, then type HTML to chat followed by a space and a 6-digit hex color. (You can preface this color with a # if you want, but that is not necessary). Examples: 'html 00FF00' is bright green, 'HTML FF0000' is bright red. (Upper or lower case, both will work). Like the menu itself, you have 20 seconds to type in a color, then it stops listening to decrease lag. If the color does not take, bring up the menu, select HTML and try again.

Lag Issues:
Umbrellas are very low lag and every effort has been made to keep them that way. Even the menu is zero lag when not in use and stops listening after 20 seconds to reduce lag back to zero. The test for dusk and dawn is only done once every 5 minutes to reduce lag.
