Before there were three lions there were two.. lions traditionally symbolises courage, nobility, royalty, strength, stateliness and valour. At the time, few Europeans had a chance to encounter actual lions, so that painters had to rely on traditional depictions and had no actual animals as models but mine are quite accurate.. famous across banners of houses and nations across Europe
