オーストラリアの先住民族アボリジニの民族楽器イダキ。一般的にはディジュリドゥの名称で知られています。こちらの商品は、北東アーネムランドのヨォルング族に伝わるブンガルという伝統的な奏法を音声に使用しています。またペイントも実際の樹皮画からスキャンしていますので、何から何まで、限りなく本物のテイストに近い作品です。
ディジュリドゥを世界に知らしめたロックバンド、Yothu Yindiの初代イダキ奏者ミルカイの演奏を音声に使用しています。つまり、このイダキを装着するだけで、ミルカイのあのミラクルな演奏が出来てしまうのです。

ディジュリドゥ(Didgeridoo またはDidjeridu) は、5～6万年前からオーストラリア大陸で生活していたといわれる先住民アボリジニが今から1000年以上も前 (2～3万年前という説も）から使い始めたと言われる楽器です。
素材は、シロアリが中心部分の固く黒茶した部分を食いつくし、空洞化したユーカリの木で出来ています。
ディジュリドゥの中でもイダキは、北東アーネムランド産の伝統的な呼び名です。
