This finely crafted machine was designed by Argyle's own Rube Goldberg Wannabe to power a drawbridge in an upcoming castle. It had to be strong and reliable to raise and lower the massive drawbridge, which is extremely heavy due to the iron cladding on the outer side.

This machine was modified by Mr. Wannabe to include propellers for a cooling breeze for those hot summer days on the patio, likely while barbequing hot dogs, hamburgers, or chicken especially on the equator, but useful anywhere. Yes, the wood fired boiler does emit some heat but most of that rises into bronze pipes above. It is piston driven but our skilled engineers have used Jello instead of oil to damper sound. A lightbulb lights automatically when it senses piston activity.

Cooling is provided by three overly shiny three bladed propellers. The tips of the kid level blade has been painted red to also warn your kids and your drunken Uncle Fred to say away.

The tremendously heavy iron base measures 7.7 by 6.2 meters. The incredibly weighty I-beam frame for the fifteen-pound heavy duty industrial lights stands at 5.4 meters.

*PLEASE NOTE*- this finely crafted machine is also finely crafted in PBR, as it deserves. You must have a PBR enabled viewer to see the textures, such as the new SL viewer, Alchemy, Firestorm, and Black Dragon. Other viewers, including older versions which are pre-PBR see only white. PBR is the future of Second Life.

To fire up this monster, first open the cast iron boiler's door and light the fire. Close the door for safety. Wait one second to build up steam. Throw the big lever on the side. Wait one second for the piston driven pump to pull the drive gear into place. At that point, engineering takes over and the gears turn as do the propellers. It is indeed a wonderous thing to see.

The industrial lights above operate separately on their own switch on a girder.

Enjoy a frosty cold beverage and congratulate yourself as you ponder your obviously wise investment and which friends would be safe to recommend this rocket science apparatus to.

Careful research by Argyle's data analysts show that this may very well be the only such machine in the entire land of Second Life.

This Rube Goldberg machine is on display in our model home lot. It greets all of our visitors who drive in.
