The Walking Spider is only 0.5 li and the Dangling Spider is 1 li (including the web) so it will hardly count to your Land Impact unless you use a lot of them.
They are made with multiple layers so that you can create an alpha texture which makes the Spider look fluffy. (you will need experience with art software to make these textures).
If you choose not to use alpha textures, you can just use a solid texture on the spider instead, as if it just had 1 layer.
