This is a locking system addition for the S2 Linked Door System. The S2 Door System is required to use this plugin. This system is not compatible with any other door system.
This system allows doors to be locked and unlocked using a key carried by the user or a public menu driven controller. Keys can be worn on the avatar or worn as huds. Each key is set with an ID code which can then be recorded in the door. When a key with a matching ID code to one recorded in the lock tries to command the lock, the lock will respond accordingly while ignoring keys who's ID is not recorded in the lock. Multiple keys can be set with the same ID and locks can have 1 or several IDs recorded. Keys can be recorded into the lock by chat command (using the master key) or by note-card.
Keys can then be handed out to people you wish to give access to the door without having to worry about adding any one's name to a door or server.
Keys can be set to either nomod/copy/notransfer or nomod/nocopy/transfer or left as nomod/copy/transfer as the set owner desires.
Only the master key can change the set ID code of any other KEY.
For additional options, locks can be set to automatically re-lock the door when it closes and they can be set so that when a door is unlocked, it re-locks after a set time period. This behavior mimics the behavior of digital security systems found in RL.
When using the menu driven controller, users can choose one of 3 types of people who are authorized to unlock the door. When set to Public mode, any avatar can unlock a locked door via the menu. When set to Group, any avatar with the same group active as the door will be able to unlock the door. When set to User, only the avatar that locked the door or the object owner can unlock the door.
The auto-unlock timer can be used to set how long the door will remain locked. When the timer runs out it automatically unlocks the door.

This plugin is an awesome addition to the KRH S2 Door System. It really helps to add an element of realism to roleplay builds. This plugin system is working perfectly for me! I've made my own keys and added the included script into them without any issues. I'm not sure why the other reviewers are experiencing issues(unless it's user error). I've personally only noticed one slight typo/error in dialog(nothing script breaking), but I've sent a message to the creator about it so I expect it will soon be corrected. I would absolutely recommend this product to other builders.
