The Shergood EC-135, is a reproduction of the Eurocopter EC-135 (also known as the Airbus H135), a twin-engine turbine helicopter with FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control). The EC-135 first entered service in 1996 and is now a popular aircraft for air ambulance, executive transport and police applications.
The cockpit of the Shergood EC-135 features a mix of fully animated digital panels including a PFD and backup analog instruments. Nearly 40 of the switches and controls are fully functional affecting aircraft systems. Engines can be run in automatic or manual mode, and a training mode for practicing single engine operations is also supported.
The SA-FE (Shergood Aviation Flight Engine) engine driving this virtual reproduction was created by an RL helicopter pilot and designed to fly like an RL helicopter. The engine is purely physics based and features independent control of cyclic, collective, throttle and anti-torque pedals enabling true power-off autorotations.
This version of the Shergood EC-135 is designed for executive transport. It includes a luggage system that allows you to load/unload luggage, and pull the luggage around.

Amazing Helicopter
I bought the heli over a year ago and forgot the review....uuppss..now here is my personal meaning of the helicopter.
its for sure not a Beginner Helicopter but if you like a realistic flight experience(so far thats possible in SL) its for sure one of the best ones to fly.I dont regret the buy of that helicopter and can recommend it to everyone that is into heli flying...and has the patience to learn of course.I have another one of Shergood as well..the H160 but the EC135 is the "every day heli"..small..easy to handle (once you get it) and the sim crossings are mostly smooth.Meanwhile my Hobbs shows 84hrs. lol..so that should show that i like that heli to fly...
Also make sure to get the SA Logbook..so you can track your Flights----no need for that but i like that option same as the individual registration number.

I absolutely disagree with anyone who says anything against it. This will have a high level of difficulty yes, but don't think that piloting an RL helicopter is something easier. If you want simplicity, go elsewhere, but if you want a challenging experience, if you want to service your helicopter parts, improve your skills with practice, buy your helicopter here! ♥
Fantastic helicopter. but definitely not for a beginner
I absolutely love this helicopter. When I first got it I underestimated the difficulty based on my experience with other helicopters from Shergood such as the chinook, this is definitely a step up but well worth it if you want a challenge.
I cannot recommend this highly enough.
EC-135-VIP for SL Grid flying is to Erratic to maintain route course
I like the plane but the anti-torque does not stop erratic motion from "spinning" of aircraft, to stay on route course. I have problems keeping the collective altitude & speed stable during flight. This plane is almost compatible with (Spartan Industries-SI-109 Power-Silver Streak) VIP helicopter, but needs updating scripting for stability during a flight.

This helo is one of the best made and most realistic that I've seen in SL. Once you get past the learning curve, flying this aircraft is terrific fun and extremely satisfying. And yes there is a novice mode if you don't wanna go the extra mile with the complex startup and shut down procedures :) I've never flown a real helo, but I imagine this must be pretty close to the real thing. I'd give this 10 stars if I could.

Beautiful and functional. Highly realistic. Has a bit of a learning curve like any complex system, but works flawlessly! I couldn't be happier with this helicopter!!!
The floats are a highly detailed addition that I recommend as well!
