This car is based off the 2015 Mustang 302 and a lot of effort was put into it to make it as accurate as possible within the confines of Second Life, using the ACS vehicle kit
Please note this is a limited edition vehicle, and once 50 on the marketplace are sold it will become available in-world only.
-------------- Features --------------
-Seats 2 (1 driver, 1 passenger)
-Door, hood, and trunk all open (with custom door sounds)
-------------- Basic Operations --------------
The car is mostly menu-driven, however, the car is easier to use with the included HUD. Certain features like Position aren't HUD-driven, and in order to operate, you must be seated in the car (it's a given).
Two shift styles are included. You can hold down Shift and use the arrow keys to shift up and down or you can just use PgUp or PgDn.
---------- Adjusting your avatar while seated ----------
To edit driver position, go to Menu>Position>All. This will allow you to edit ALL the gestures instead of just one at a time. If you select Drive or Reverse individually, you will only be editing that position, which means you'll have to manually edit the other when you finish. Don't forget to choose "All"!
The passenger seat is self-explanatory. Sit in the seat and click it once to get a list of adjustments you can make whilst you are seated.
---------- Changing the Vehicle's Color ----------
This vehicle comes with 9 color options for the body, and includes a custom color option for even more choices. Just go to Options, then Graphics, then click Color, and choose one, or you can use the included HUD and look for Settings and then use the left and right arrows to locate "Color Picker", then press the ACS button in the middle of the arrows and select any color you want.
Also included is a scripted rear license plate, that allows the owner to change it by saying the UUID for the desired on texture on channel 3
EXAMPLE:
/3 XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX
-------------- Adjusting Performance Options --------------
To adjust the car's dynamics, go to Menu>Options>Controls.
-Gears allows you to tweak the gear speed for each gear.
-Reverse allows you to tweak the reverse speed.
-Brake allows you to tweak the braking power.
-Skid allows you to tweak the skid power during turning.
-Turbo allows you to tweak the power of the turbo.
-Steering allows you to change the turn and drift speed.
-Gravity allows you to change the vehicle's amount of downforce.
-------------- Release Notes --------------
- This is version 1.0, and is the first version.
A Great Addition To Any Fleet
Decided I should start reviewing products the team on this end gets, and we're starting with the SCD-000-001. Okay, first and foremost, this car has aged pretty well, and looks better in-world than in the pictures. The texture work on the body is shiny, the tires look suitably rugged, and the interior is very nice. There are a couple of minor gripes I may have with it appearance wise, such as the lights not actually projecting, but not enough to dock a star. *ESPECIALLY* considering the performance. I didn't get this car to be a run of the mill town car or just to look pretty, it had to perform, and perform it did.
I took the vehicle to Racer's island to break it in fresh out of the box, no modifications or tuning. Even in first gear I could tell it had a bit of kick, but it managed the advanced tokyo drift course in 24.454 seconds, clocking in at 171KMpH, And that was just gear 3 to get a feel for it once I started the timer! The car handles very well at speed, and managed in gear five a healthy top speed of 224KMpH, with a best track time of 22.302 seconds. It could have gone faster, but I didn't feel like going all our or flicking on turbo. The car runs on the highly tunable ACS scripts, so it's performance can be tuned if ever you find it lacking.
All in all, I got what I paid for: A real Spitfire! Thank you Spitfire Autoworks, and I hope the Gallexfire team can do more business with you in the future!
