HOW TO USE IT
________________
Once you have added the items you can edit them to move around on your avatar for the best fit. It is not recommended to resize the items but that is still an option if you so choose.
You must draw your throw-able weapon in order to use it. Draw it by touching the holstered object on your hip or by triggering the gesture included. The gesture is assigned to trigger by default by pressing the F10 key on your keyboard. You can edit the gesture to change this. Alternately, you can type into chat:
/grenade
This will also trigger the gesture. Whether you are using the gesture or not you can type the following into chat to trigger the draw:
/831 draw-holster
The same applies to holstering the drawn weapon. Also note that you can touch the drawn weapon as a trigger for holstering (or drawing) it.
When your weapon is drawn you can arm and throw it. To do this enter mouselook (by pressing the m key on your keyboard or by mouse-wheel-zooming all the way into your avatar. Once you have entered mouselook you can HOLD DOWN the left mouse button to begin charging the power of your throw. If you release the button too quickly your throw will be weak and will land too nearby. This may cause you harm! When you have adequately charged your throw (a couple of seconds should be fine) you will enter the throwing process. This takes a couple of additional seconds so take care to carefully line up your shot in this time. You will release the weapon and it will soar through the air until it hits something and then it will detonate.
After you have thrown your weapon it will re-appear holstered on your hip. You can then draw and throw it again.
You can remain in mouselook if you prefer between throws. You will need to have the gesture active to do this so that you will be able to hit the shortcut key (F10 by default) to re-draw the weapon after you have thrown it.
Once you have finished charging your throw you can exit mouselook. Just be sure that you are facing your target so that your throw aims straight. You will be able to see your throwing animation this way.
Please note that this weapon is scripted to work with the Unity combat system. This will only damage those with their Unity combat meters activated and in a combat-ready mode. Otherwise, this weapon is purely decorative.
