To change the color of the particles, simply right-click and edit the color and transparency like you would do to any other object.

i like it..it's pretty good..BUT!
i bought the shadowrun and i love how you can change colors of the particles and creep around as an entity-like figure..
but, there are some things when it comes to the running AO...as for myself, i had to make a copy of an AO HUD and completely remove/disable the running animations from that AO,in order to do the shadow like movements. because the shadowrun animation didn't completely override my other running animations for some reason.
Also, there can be a little more detailing on the particle design, only in my honest opinion.
I love the idea you made it so that you can use your avatar to creep around as a dark shadow like entity.. good work.. ^^;
