PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
SL Colonies is a new up and coming Survival Based RPG system which works Grid-Wide.
SL Colonies defers greatly from other systems within Second Life in that its focus is to encourage all players within the system to get out there and visit other lands in order to progress in their chosen profession.
Every profession requires to interact with another in order to survive and to be successful. Whether it be obtaining tools from a carpenter or smith to harvest your farm fields. Obtaining milk and wheat to bake high energy foods, or simply to visit a baker or brewer to stock up in much needed food and drink in order to even survive. Perhaps you enjoy trade and being a merchant – buying low, selling high?
Whether you are a world builder making a new RPG, or you are a small land owner wanting to build a small farm or just enjoy cooking in your own home, or perhaps you have no land but would like to play and be a part of something greater – the limit is your imagination.
You can really rule your own empire or lead your own life!

Works as advertised!
One of my favorite parts about the tree is the fruit disappearing when picked! (All gatherable SLC fruit trees and bushes do this!) I also happen to love the small youngness of it, with the notion that as the game grows, there will be tree updates with bigger mesh and fruit counts (and obviously, land impact) -- though, even without that, the small tree and 5 li makes for cool interactive fruit harvesting! If you're a SLC player with rez rights somewhere, a home or the like, and you want a steady source of energy & health food/drink, then the Apple Tree is for you, possibly by the few...
SPOILER ALERT
.... because energy and health stats improve by 2, per apple. So, it can take a lot of apples-- eaten off a tree or picked, one at a time-- to replenish health and or energy.
Apple Trees can be picked and eaten without any tools or energy cost and are the best "harvestable" source of energy among fruit trees and bushes in SLC. Likewise, with 8 fruit per tree, it takes a full 24 hours, there abouts, for the tree to replenish all 8 fruits, respawning 1 fruit every 3 hours, give or take (as I never actually clocked it to verify.)
If you're harvesting with the "small basket" tool, it's still one at a time, and the energy cost (as mentioned) is 2-- with apples in your inventory though, you may "Use" from the HUD "ingredient" and see apple as a choice to eat from your pack, as it were, anywhere the HUD can pull from your inventory.
