The complete SMS Snap Shackle Product, available as a separate purchase,
comes INCLUDED in this product package.
The core design of the entire SMS Snap Shackle Product Line is based on V2-Level Viewers
which permit MULTIPLE attachments to be stacked on the SAME attachment point.
If you are not familiar with this feature, these products can still be used, but will
require linking whistles, knives, key rings and other goodies to snap shackles, and refitting
them to accommodate available attachment points. AND, the SHOW-HIDE scripts will JUST NOT
WORK either. Not a fun run, but nonetheless, doable. Support is NOT offered for any other
options than use with V2-featured viewers.
The entire snap shackle, lanyard, bobby whistle, and rigging knife product line
is designed to be worn as SEPARATE ATTACHMENTS. This approach gives u MAXIMUM
flexibility in use, with absolutely MINIMAL grief. To clarify, a neck lanyard with its linked
snap shackle is ONE attachment, the Bobbie Whistle and Rigging Knife are EACH
SEPARATE ATTACHMENTS stacked together with the neck lanyards on the SAME ATTACHMENT POINT.
They APPEAR to be a single linked set, but in fact are SEPARATE, UNLINKED, attachments.
The SPINE is the default attachment point for all of the Snap Shackle products, with the
HAND WEAR versions attaching by default to the right hand.
An av can wear a max total of 38 attachments, each of any size to max 256 prims, stacked
on any attachment point. As an example, in theory, if u wore no other attachments,
you could stack up to 38 attachments on the same attachment point. This feature applies
equally to the HUD attachment points as well which, originally, rounded out the 30 single,
body attachment points an av could use, with an additinal 8 for screen HUDs.
With only a little hands-on experience using these products, u will quickly see the distinct
advantages of the modular approach, which completely bypasses the need to have all kinds
of optional versions of a piece u wear, by simply letting u swap out attachments. This design
architecture also completely bypasses the need to mukkee-muck with linking and unlinking
different target objects, prim by prim, to the same piece, e.g., a neck lanyard.
Since all products are COPY-MOD, u can basically do anything u want with them to customize
them to suit your own needs and aesthetics.
