- Mesh
- animated duckweed
Pretty cool! As advertised and well designed-- mostly!
By mostly, I simply mean-- per the previous reviewer's comment-- you cannot resize it without editing-linked first, and either resizing one at a time, OR making the duckweed mesh thicker, so the two can be resized together. The only reason it wont resize together is because the duckweek mesh is thin right out of the box, and wont resize any thinner. So, you have to make it thicker--taller-- to get an easy resize on both pieces at the same time. There IS a script in the duckweed part that is animating it, this is handy for duplicating the pieces, they all rotate! Just remember to remove the scripts you don't need anymore-- it will still rotate as long as you don't duplicate one without a script. ...................... While not something I'm inclined to remove a star for or anything, I would have liked to been able to flip the duckweed part over to have it spinning the other way, or a mirror rotation option, since the script is No-modify, I cannot reverse the spin to simulate a current from the other side of the bank, or an opposing current.
Beautiful, but...
The item and movement of the duckweed is very natural. But the size is not!. It rezzes as gigantic and can't be shrunk down except by editing the linked parts and shrinking those down individually. So for the fact that I had to mess with it to discover how to shrink it down, I give it four rather than five stars.
