Two bodies of water: A hot tub on one side and a swimmer's treadmill/endless pool on the other. Its the best of both worlds, offering space for fitness, fun and relaxation.

The Sam Sparks Sport Designs Swim Spa has a wide, smooth current so that you can swim against it and get your swim workout without requiring the space of a Olympic length pool. Massaging spa jets relieve the tension and pain that may have accumulated throughout your day. The water temperature is always perfect, because you choose it, year-round.

This swim spa allows you to practice the typical swim strokes of back (4 animations), breast (4 animations), butterfly (3 animations) and freestyle (5 animations). In addition, there are sequences that cycle through the various strokes as well three medley practices (50 m / 100 m / 200 m) where you swim butterfly, backstroke, breast and freestyle. In addition, there are five specialty strokes, five stretching pool exercises, seven back floats, twelve front floats and three water treads, and nine standing massages to use the pool's jets. Each of the menus has a looping sequence that cycles through the various animations of the menu. Finally, there is an interactive couples Swim lesson consisting of 10 animations that bring the swimmer and an avatar that was sitting in the middle seat of the hot tub.

The hot tub section of the swim spa has three seats, a lounger, a corner seat and a middle seat. The lounger sitter has six solo animations while sitting in the lounger and eight pool side animations which allows that sitter to interact with the swimmer while lying on a rezzable towel prop, Couples animations are arranged with the corner seat sitter. There are 22 Lounger level cuddles, 23 Pool side cuddles, two standing cuddles and three corner seat cuddles. In addition, there are 16 Lounger level kisses, 14 Pool side kisses and five standing kisses. There is a bonus included of a couple romances props of rose petals, candles and champagne as well as couples animations of sharing champagne.

The couples animations are PG rated and are intended to build romance not fulfill it.

In addition to the couples animations shared with the lounger sitter, the corner seat has 19 solo sit animations and eight pool side animations which allows that sitter to interact with the swimmer but on the opposite side of the pool from where the lounger sitter would be.

Finally, the middle seat has 19 solo sit animations of their own as well as the swim lesson couples animations already previously mentioned.

USING THE SWIM SPA

When you first sit on the tiled surface of the swim spa you will be standing in a pose and will have a choice of the four sitter, SWIMMER, LOUNGER, CORNER and MIDDLE. Once you choose a sitter, you will then be presented with the various menus for that sitter, The SWIMMER includes, beyond the various swim menus, a menu for controlling aspects of the pool including turning on lights, changing pool temperature, activating the massage jets and turning the Information HUD on or off. The lounger and corner seat menus include a SPA control menu that allows those sitters to turn on the hot tub's lights, change temperature, activate jets and turn the spa's information HUD on and off as well as turn off the Pool's information HUD off.

SWIM SOUNDS

There are two versions of the swim spa included, one that has swim sounds silenced completely and cannot be activated [SILENT version] and one where the swim sounds can be turned off and on [SOUND version]. Under certain applications, the owner may chose to want to have the SILENT version especially in a busy gym where other avatars might find the sounds to be an annoyance. When using the swim animations in the SOUND version, the current displayed version has swimming sounds incorporated. To turn these off, you can simply touch the current and turn the sound off and touching it a second time returns the sounds again.

NOTE: The Swim Spa is designed with two components, the main structure of the swim spa and the water. The water is designed to be non-physical so that one can walk down into the two tub sections. DO NOT LINK these two pieces or you will render the entire build non-physical and you will walk through it. If you want to move the Swim Spa, highlight the water and then while holding shift highlight the base and after that you will be able to move and rotate the entirety.
