This Singin' in the Rain light post dancer was first born out of my grandmother's love of musicals. As a kid and into my teens, my grandmother and I would watch musicals during the afternoon and this particular one was one of her favorites, I was thinking about her the other day, she's been gone for nearly over 30 years and I wanted to make this in her honor.

Taking a variety of tap dances and combining it with an umbrella can hopefully put your heart in the mindset of celebrating life, remembering who we are, how we got there and to rejoice in all circumstances. Each choice that we make can either wallow in the self-pity of grey skies and rainy days or gather your memories and take a leisurely walk or dance in the rain.

You will find that when you sit on the lamp post, you will be immediately be dancing (you may need to turn off your ao if you aren't). An umbrella will be leaning against the lamp post waiting for you to attach it. The attachment dialogue box may be hidden on your viewer, so you may need to hunt for that.

Now, just having a lightpost and a single tap dance isnt the way of Sam Sparks Sport Designs where I like to over deliver and provide you with more than you anticipate, Consequently, there are three unisex tap dance sequences that draw from 21 unique tap/shuffle dances. But as most infomercials like to say, "But wait, there is more!!" Tap dances aren't the only dances and "Singin' in the Rain" isnt the only song. In addition to that song that celebrates my love of my grandmother and her love of musicals, there are four other songs keeping with the rain theme: "Umbrella" by Rihanna, "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele, "Its Raining Men" by the Weather Girls, and "Purple Rain" by Prince. The associated dance sequences with these songs are choreographed to convey the tone and style of the songs.

There are 21 individual tap dances, seven dances for Umbrella, ten dances "Set Fire to the Rain", five dances for "Its Raining Men" (Think Magic Mike style male dances), and five dances for "Purple Rain". That is a total of 48 dances included in the dance light post and as a bonus, there are seven static dance poses for photography.
