STI Medieval Cottage

Not only is this STI Medieval Cottage low prim yet packed with detail, it also has functionality, giving the user a rewarding experience. All up it has a land impact of 13. It is 100% mesh, made outside SL in 3D modeling software.

The Medieval Cottage which is slightly stylized, has a strong grain rich wood door, reinforced with steel and rivets standing atop a worn, stone entry stair and foundation blocks. The walls are medieval style stone blocks and the frame of the cottage is made of well grained, aged wood. Worn Timber Shingles sit atop the old and crooked roof. The cottage has a rough, compacted and clean, mud floor and the windows are latticed. The interior ceiling is framed by impressive timber beams with wooden planks and struts sealing it from the roof. The door frame, skirting and cornice timber is aged and sealed wood. All the textures include normal and specular maps for added detail and light effect so it is strongly advised to have the advanced lighting model turned on in preferences to get the full visual value. There are three oil lamps, one outside and two inside.

The door is fully functional and has auto open, lock, access list, time to stay open, angle to open, chat commands, feedback and sounds, and can be adjusted using a settings card in the door.

The windows are functional and have four settings; open, shaded, closed and privacy (open inside, closed outside). Just touch a window to access the menu. The access list in the door will grant access to the windows.

The lamps can all be turned on or off together or individually. They can also auto light when the sun goes down. The access list is also shared with the lamps. Touch any lamp to access the lamp menu.
