BOATS ROAM SECOND LIFE
Bots roam SL and collect data on us and on our land. Groups or individuals may use this data to obtain unfair advantages or to spy on us.
Most of these bots are marked as automated accounts, as required by the Linden Lab policy guidelines, while others are non-legal bots, as their owners did not want to register them with the LL.
The "Stop the Bots" device can detect all these bots and keep them off your property.

HOW IT WORKS
Rezz the device.
Touch to display a menu. Choose your settings (the menu is self-explanatory).
The device will start to work immediately detecting bots and botlike agents and sending home those detected in the owner's land. They can also be added to the parcel banlist where the device is set (60 days ban).

DEED TO A GROUP
The folder contains two devices. One of them, marked with T, is only Transfer and can be deeded to a group and used in group owned lands. The other one is only Copy and can't be deeded to a group.

BOTS AND BOTLIKE AGENTS
Bot = automated agents, managed by a program instead of a person. Linden Lab policy guidelines require automated agents to be marked as such.
Botlike agents = very probably unmarked bots..
Marked bots detection is 100% certain, while unmarked bots detection is somewhat less certain. Some can escape detection and some persons can be wrongly flagged as Botlike Agents. However this orb will get it right with a high probability.
