~SWAN~ Historical Group Dance - 'Mr. Beveridge's Maggot''
========================================

'Mr Beveridge's Maggot' is a dance from the 17th/18th century, probably most famously seen in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.
Animated to be as authentic as possible, using the written instructions and some good youtube recordings of it being performed.

It is for four avatars and involves a number of different moves: swapping places, weaving, turning, etc. There is also a bow at the beginning and end.
The dance lasts approx. 1min 10secs.

You can add another 4 people if you like, but be careful of spacing it so that avatars don't end up passing through each other and beware - you MUST link them together if you wish them to synchronise properly.

Each avatar is animated separately, giving a strong feel of realism, as none move exactly the same. And because of that, it took AGES to complete! I hope it is enjoyed!

I recommend anybody buying animated goods in SL to try them inworld first... this dance can be found at the ~SWAN~ main store here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cho/63/129/2702

Instructions for Use
=============

Simply rez the ~SWAN~ 'Mr. Beveridge's Maggot', which appears as 4 poseballs. The blues are for tall dancers (male), purples for medium (female). If your dancers are of shorter stature, you can drag the dance lower in edit so their feet touch the floor. Alternatively, there is an option via the menu to adjust your avatar after you sit.

When you sit, you'll see a menu pop up: this has two options for animations, 'Wait' or 'Dance'. When you first use it, it'll be set to wait first.

Once all are seated, hit 'Dance' to begin the dance.

If the dance begins to go out of sync after a long use, you can access the menu to start it again by clicking on where the balls are, or the long, transparent rectangle that is in the centre. Hit 'Wait' to stop it and then 'Dance'
To see them, make the transparent prims visible in red by hitting ctrl alt T.

The dance is copy.
