Hey - sailing's not so hard after all
I tried to learn to sail a while back in a little free dinghy that kept capsizing all the time - kinda put me off so this boat had some work to do to win me over.
First thing I notice is that it works right out of the box and has clear instructions - good start!
It looks pretty, nice shape, looks solid and simple and I find I can change the colour scheme by clicking a thing and I get a menu - I choose red, it also has 4 more basics, OK good. I also see a flag at the back which I click and it changes - ahhh - it contains loads of national flags I can change by click and it shows where the wind is coming from - how cool is that!!!
It says if I raise the sails and then lower them then a motor kicks in - and it DOES yayyyy now I can get out of here easily, what a good idea.
Sailing now, the sails are pretty and the boat looks great, really easy to handle but the sound is not great - gurgle gurgle - turn down that volume......
There is a HUD thing above my head and it changes colour depending on how well the sails are arranged - GREAT IDEA - and the wind indicator really does work - hummmm now the wind is in front of me so I have stopped - ok turn right a bit - YAY off we go again. Oh that was neat - I turned the boat and it swapped me to the other side - nice touch.
I rate in 4/5 stars mainly because the sound is a bit annoying and not like a boat really.
I like this boat - very easy to work and so far no problems at all - now where did I see those SL world maps???
