SafeBoat T410 Interceptor

The SAFE Center Console Offshore is a racing-inspired, high-speed interceptor with a dual-stepped hull design.
The Center Console Offshore features SAFE Boats F.A.S.T. technology, which enhances speed, performance and fuel economy, while the unique hull design delivers unbelievable cornering performance. The Center Console Offshore can operate at top speeds in the harshest seas and features an open T-Top design to maximize visibility at all angles. Ergonomic features maximize efficiency and enhance ease of movement around the vessel. The Center Console Offshore is currently available at 41-feet.

You have two options to use the commands with the boat.
Either using the HUD or using the command shortlist (see below Commands).
The boat has two modes that can be switched using the page down button.
Cruise mode uses 5% throttle increments and reaches a top speed of approx. 60 knots.
At 0% throttle you can strafe the boat to the left or right, by pressing shift and arrows left and right simultaneously.
Keep in mind that shift and in mouselook use the same command code in LSL.
Pursuit mode uses only one speed set to 100% throttle and is slightly faster than cruise mode at approx. 74 knots.
This is more appropriate for quick burst on the throttle with quick maneuverability.

Controls:
Page Up - horn
Page Down - toggles Cruise mode or Pursuit mode

Cruise Mode:
Forward and reverse arrow controls the throttle in 5% increments
Left and right arrow control turning
At 0% throttle shift + left or right arrow will enable the side thrusters

Pursuit Mode:
Forward and reverse arrows control forward and reverse thrust
left and right arrows controls steering

SailSafe™

As with the FlySafe™ in my aircraft, I've introduced a SailSafe™ mode in this boat.
When activated both Pilots, passengers and vessel will become phantom and set to temporary.
This will help you to sail through obstructions, shallow waters and avoid collisions with other boats.
Very useful when being attacked by griefers!
When VICE is enabled SailSafe will not work, obviously this would give you an unfair advantage.

Modding:

Texture templates are included for you to use and create your own textures to share or sell.
All sit animations are placed in invisible pose balls (above each seat) to make it easier for you to adjust the sit position.
The animation positions correspond with general AO sit positions and can be swapped out.
There are only 7 scripts in the non VICE version in the pose balls. These should not be removed or replaced.
as they are multi-functional. You can however link your own pose balls with animations anywhere you desire.
Display text color can be changed by changing the pass2 pose ball color (sit position behind the copilot).

SafeBoat T410 Interceptor Commands

s - toggles start and stop

c - toggles between fixed and dynamic camera view

l - toggles White All-Round Lights on/off

nav - toggles red and green Navigation Lighting

sl - toggles forward headlights (search lights) on/off (requires Point Lighting in viewer)

ss - toggles SailSafe™ on/off (protects against griefer attacks (pushing, weapons), enables to sail through solid obstructions and land)

pilot/copilot - toggles boat controls between the Pilot and Copilot

chat - toggles the chat messages from the boat (i.e. 41' Apostle whispers: Throttle: 0) on/off

eject - ejects all passengers from the boat

lock - toggles the lock function on/off for all passenger/copilot seats

refuel - fills up the fuel tank

blue - toggles the blue flashing lights on/off

siren - toggles the siren on/off

wave - toggles the wave effects on/off when the boat is moored

display - toggles the text display on/off

group - toggles group mode on/off (enables usage for group members)

guest - toggles guest mode on/off (allows anyone to use)

deck 1 - display the boat with the closed forward deck

deck 2 - display the boat with the half open forward deck

deck 3 - display the boat with the open forward deck

help - to receive this Note Card

hud - to receive the Pilots HUD

menu - opens and dialog menu with various commands

vice - toggles VICE (Vehicle, Infantry Combat Environment) on/off

crash 1 - simulates VICE explosion
crash 0 - ends VICE explosion
