Santa Barbara House BOXED

This part mesh house is about 113 Land Impact for the house and everything linked to it.

The house comes in two sizes:

• Large: house and deck have a footprint of 45 x 45 -- perfect for a 64 x 64 (4096) parcel.

• Smaller: house and deck have a footprint of about 40x40. This is the version kept rezzed inworld at La Galleria.

The wood trim has been tinted darker than shown in some pictures.

~ The height of doors and doorways is easily adjusted to your avatar: stretch the top panel up or down, then do the same with the doors. (UNCHECK STRETCH BOTH SIDES.)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOUSE IS ONE OBJECT SO NO REZ BOX IS NEEDED. YOU MUST INDIVIDUALLY PLACE THE HOUSE AND ANY ACCESSORIES NOT LINKED TO THE HOUSE.

After you open the main house box (R Click and choose "Open") copy the contents to inventory. Then drag the house to the ground from inventory.

If you want to use the garden walls, just drag them from inventory and place them on your land as you like.

Indoor light fixtures, celing fans, etc. may be placed in any room you like.

MODIFYING

~ The height of doors and doorways is easily adjusted to your avatar: stretch the top panel up or down, then do the same with the doors. (UNCHECK STRETCH BOTH SIDES.)

~ The house is made of a variety of regular and mesh prims which may be easily unlinked and copied in order to create additional builds or add-ons.

~ Blocks textured with the house and floor textures are included for you to use in your modifications.

~ Floors and ceilings are covered with a transparent shadow prim. To change the underlying textures, move the shadow prim up out of the way. You can also make the shadow prims 100% transparent if you want more flexibility with the floor plan.

~ All objects except those that rez from a menu are modifiable. Objects with no modify scripts or objects in contents will show as No Modify in inventory; however, when rezzed, the object itself will be modifiable.

IMPORTANT: AFTER YOU MODIFY, RENAME YOUR HOUSE AND TAKE A COPY. DO THIS EACH TIME, AND KEEP HOUSE LOCKED AFTERWARDS.

TROUBLESHOOTING

~ The first time you try to clear plants you rez from the menu, you may need to delete manually, with your mouse -- after the first rez, you will be able to use the menu only. If the script stops working, reset house scripts.
