I didn't need this, but that negative remark made me upset, so I decided to buy this, just so I could leave a positive review (after testing it). I even managed to link 5 of these together and it was only 4 LI.
The only change I could wish for was if the face with the wood wasn't so dark in the texture itself, but was made darker or coloured by the colour setting for that face. The product is still as advertised and does not deserve less than 5 stars.

I don't know what the other person is complaining about at all. Being from 4 years ago I'll go with just not all that knowledgeable about mesh....and missing out a the song "Can't always get what you want".
They match near perfectly with the staircase set I already have, the middle rails being different but close enough for me once I matched the textures...which was simple enough. Plenty of sizes to chose from, each with a 1 end post, 2 end post, or no end post option. Had my graphics on low at the time and they still looked nice. I didn't stretch mine far, but did a bit to make them fit the area I wanted and there was no increase in Li. And linking them lowered the Li. Further stretching would have probably raised it, as mesh likes to do, but who wants to stretch rails that far and mess up the look?
I love them! Will add them to my favorite go to when building from now on.
Wasted money and time, both mine and my customers :(
So I used to have the Regency Staircase that I find absolutely perfect.

I contacted the creator asking if they had a longer set of matching longer and straight BANISTERS to go with it.
The creator said they didn´t, but recommended me THIS set of staircase

and I was told "it will match perfectly with the Regency Staircase" that I already had.
Believing the creator I purchased both packs, even if the recommended ones are far less pretty, just to match the staircase and try to make a harmonious set.
Unfortunately, my joy was short lived: the banisters of the stairs I use are 3 and 7, none of which are present in the box because the box doesn´t HAVE the odd numbers. On top of that the crap railing doesn´t stay at only 1LI when stretched more than 7.5 meters, what totally defeats the purpose since, for the size of the building versus the prim limit, is literally a waste to even try and use these.
I profusely regret my choice and deleted everything from this creator from my inventory, since the customer service was poor and deceiving for the consumer / end user; and I cannot use his sets for my building work. Even if I liked the staircase I got rid of it also- it won´t match any varandas I could come up with, and I do not endorse people that blatantly deceive the customer trying to get a quick buck.
I don´t make a living out of SL. I work hard for my lindens. The least these people could do is to try and be honest with us instead of lying.
