The coins are scripted and produce a very pleasant bling sound and sparkles when they are walked into. The lucky person walking into one will get an IM stating that they have earned a gold coin.
Great fun in sandboxes and other n00b places that are rez-enabled.

This is a great little coin thing, no you do not get an IM, it says in local chat you collected a coin, which is way better than getting an IM, if you got IM's every time you collected one, that could be really ignoring, but this is so kool, thanks
