I own a RIDING SIM we have a Public Beach with Surfing etc This wave which costs $3,000 L ONLY has one pattern of activity No matter what settings you change it DOES NOT WORK!!! I contacted the builder in IM about my issue at first. His response, he sent me a copy oif the Wave and said to try that. It didnt work....I spoke with him in SL , explained the issue he replied.... Yes, sounds like its getting caught on something. Nonphantom prim, sims edge, terraform I Explained .... negative everything is exactly the same as the other maverick I had down and it at least generated a wave even if it could not be configured. I asked if they could please come look at the environment the wave was set up in to explain what might be the issue. He never responded back! Just another builder that gets your Lindens and doesnt give a damn about the customers that seems to happen alot with MP Purchases. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS WAVE YOU WILL NOT GET ANY ASSISTANCE OR HELP!!
What was going to be a lot of fun.
I recently found this wave set up in another sim and it was a BLAST. I had so much fun that afternoon I decided to purchase the set up for myself. I've been in Second Life since 2005. I've owned multiple successful businesses, am competent when setting up scripted objects and items such as these waves, and generally read all of my instruction note-cards thoroughly.
I purchased this product hours ago and have been annoyed and aggravated ever since. The instructions are UNCLEAR. The designer may understand how to use them but the CUSTOMER does not have your knowledge base. PLEASE explain more.
What instructions were laid out I followed and in short, what the waves are intended to do, does not happen for me. Wave duration does -not- change no matter which set of waves I put down. I've given these waves the FULL length of my homestead sim and STILL, they never disappear or sink.
I understand that the creator may be willing to work with customers, but after working with something this user unfriendly for hours, I have no interest in spending more time on this product with or without them let alone inviting them to my homestead...
3000L wasted.
