The Scuttle Hatch Chair is an interesting item, as it was adapted from a real-life, one of a kind chair that goes for over $4000 in real life. It is a creatively re-purposed item using an authentic scuttle hatch from a battleship. Scuttle hatches were used to sink a defeated ship in wartime to prevent it from being captured.
