Free as a bird? - Here it is in Second Life: A bird which really flies FREE. This sea gull flies around freely, not linked to a centered prim.

The flight looks very realistic. The bird will move its wings and will enjoy you with sea gull calls. See for bird sound details below.

Here is how it works:

Move the sea gull high enough that it won't hit anything right away and then click on it.

The sea gull will fly around the location vector set at the top of "timer". The sea gull will stay on about a quarter sim.

Your bird attempts to resume flying after various problems, but if your bird stops or gets stuck, move the bird where there is space to fly and click again once or twice. If that fails, reset the script.

Permissions: The bird itself is copy and modify, the script is copy. This means, you can reset it quickly. But you cannot see the lines by themselves.

Your bird comes with sound. I wrote the script that way, that the sound does show up now and then, but not too often. Your bird shall be a long time pleasure. And this only will be, if the birds call are in a appropriate frequency. It shall give your place a realistic feeling of sea and freedom.

Have a romantic Second Life!
