The only thing I am selling in this collection of notes is the notes itself. And ad space. :D
Included in this are several sections:
The beginning sections cover Second Life basics for business, as well as some common tips and suggestions.
The section on VR business includes free tips on shop design and VR business notes. Premium content for the VR notes includes specific business ideas, as well as new business ideas and takes on existing methods that failed or are in need of improvement. There is also a starting section with the notes on High Fidelity, the next Second Life.
The real-life business information section shows how large business can readily integrate into VR, and make a profit from it, or to use it for promotion. The next VR will heavily focus on mobile and may come to be seen as the next website, if this is the case then businesses will need to be ready to establish themselves there. Each example contains detailed notes and tips that will be useful to other similar industries also.

=====
Beginning:
With the new Second Life coming out, is it worth investing in the old Second Life or doing anything in it still?
Short answer: Yes :)
Long answer: Yes, it builds community and brand recognition, and this can be carried over into the new Second Life, whether that is Linden Lab's next big project, or something else entirely.
Thus, these are all notes for both the current Second Life and the new one. The perspective is written as if someone would be starting in Second Life, today, with the intent of being better prepared for the next Virtual World.
