A different kind of security system.
Your average security system has you input a number to be used by the system defining the size of an invisible spherical radius which will be scanned regularly for intruders. This can be difficult to conceptualize, and a pain to figure out whether or not it's encompassing the entire area you want it to encompass, and overcompensation for this can often lead to security systems covering an area well outside of the intended scope. This, however, is not your average security system.
With the Claire Bear Security Cube system, you rez phantom "Area" prims, and then resize and reposition them so that they are encapsulating an area that you wish to be protected, and then synch them to a control panel unit that will manage them, providing you with any number of TANGIBLE, alterable, relocatable security areas. This system is ideal for users who want only certain rooms in their home to be protected rather than their entire parcel, or for users who want multiple security areas, or for users with very specific shape needs for their security coverage, or for anyone who just wants a "more specific" level of control over their security system.
How it works:
- Rez the Panel, which controls the system.
- Then rez an "Area prim" from the Panel menu or from your inventory.
- Then simply resize that prim so that the area you want to protect is inside of it.
- Synch the Area prim to the Panel using the Panel menu (automatic synching is enabled by default).
- Rez multiple Area prims to have many separate security zones. Lockdown individual rooms or areas with precision and without locking down your entire property.
- Make your synched Area prims invisible with the Panel menu.
- Add the names of avatars who are authorized for entry to a whitelist via the Panel menu.
- The Panel can support up to about 50 Area prims being synched to it at one time.
- In the No-Copy Version, you can assign an admin to the Panel. You and your assigned admin can access and use the Panel menu. No one else can. Ideal if you live with a roommate or have a helpful friend who's more tech savvy than you. The Copy Version lacks this feature as an anti-piracy measure.
Notes:
- Admin functionality only supported in the No-Copy Version.
- Refunds will not be issued for failure to comprehend that the Admin functionality is only supported in the No-Copy Version.
- Each panel has its own Whitelist for its respective synched Area prims (only relevant with the Copy version or if you purchase multiple No-Copy Versions).
- With the No-Copy Version, it is only the Panel that is no-copy.
- As with all security systems, this will need to be deeded if it is to be used on group-owned land (the copy version cannot be deeded).
- Unlike many other security systems, this system will auto-detect if you are on group-owned land and tell you what to do about that, and it will report to you when you have successfully deeded it.
- Refunds will not be issued for failure to properly deed the Panel. Make sure you understand what deeding is and how to do it. Read the manual.
- Panel and Area prims will remain synched even if you reset scripts. They can be desynched from the Panel menu, though.
- The Panel has an Adjust menu so that it can still be moved about after being deeded. This Adjust menu has a much wider and larger range of increments available to it than most Adjust menus. This is so that it can be transported across large properties or to/from a skybox without taking all day about it.
- The Panel's Adjust menu supports position adjustments in increments of 0.01, 0.05, 0.1, 0.25, 1, 10, 25, 64, 100, and 500 meters.
- The Panel's Adjust menu supports rotation adjustments in increments of 1, 5, 25, 33, 45, and 90 degrees.
- The Panel's Adjust menu has a button to toggle Full Bright on or off.
- Each Panel occupies 1 land impact, and each Area prim used occupies 1 land impact, for a minimum of 2 land impact occupied by a functioning system.

Admin is not working even how much I tried, and why there is no copy on this cube with admin capabilities? I can only use it once and need to buy for another one?
i adore this system. All of the stars for Claire!
I have literally been waiting years for someone to do this in a nice simple way. When i bought the system, there was a wee bug in it, but within hours, Claire messaged, sorted it out and replaced the item. It works perfectly, and does just what it advertises. The item is great, the customer service is superb and I bought two more for other locations. I am absolutely telling everyone about this system.
