Very realistic gold metal bell with dark oak base, only 3 prims!
Features:
> Displays a message above it stating whether the active user is online or not.
> 67 colors to pick from for the color of the online/offline message.
> When touched by an avatar, the active user receives an IM with:
- Date and time the bell was rung.
- SL link to the location of your bell.
- SL link to the profile of the person who touched the bell.
> Option to allow other people in your group to sign in and use the bell.
(Only one person at a time can be signed in to the Service Bell)
> Security option to prevent others in your group from signing in unauthorized.
> Customizable 25 time zone offset with an daylight saving option.

Customer hears: *Ding*, *Ding*, *Ding*
Then sees: Ringing for Active Users Name...
(the Active Users Name would be replace with your actual name)
Active Users receive a IM saying who is calling and where they are loacted.
Customer Name rang bell on MM/DD/YYYYY HH:MM AM/PM
Customer Name needs help at secondlife://Minoa/183/106/111
Customer Name profile: secondlife:///app/agent/00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000/about
(the Customer Name would be replace with the name of the avatar who actual touched the bell)
The links will be clickable when viewed from the communication window. Opening up the land mark and the customer profile.
I think once you try my bell your will wonder how you ever ran a store without it.

Directions
-----------
Owner Only Access:
1) Rez the Service Bell .
2) Make sure the group on the Service Bell is set to "(none)"
see "CHANGING GROUP" below.
User in Group Access:
1) Rez the Service Bell .
2) Have the active user or owner unlock the Service Bell.
3) Make sure the group on the Service Bell is set to the group you want to have access
to the Service Bell see "CHANGING GROUP"
4) Have the group member who will be using the Service Bell put on their personal group tag.
Note: The group tag they put on must match the one assigned to the Service Bell
5) Have the group member click the Service Bell and choose the option to "Sign In"
6) REMEMBER: When a new users signs into the Service Bell, it will auto-lock.
NOTE1: If the Service Bell is unlocked, all users in this group will have permissions to sign in to the Service Bell.
NOTE2: Reset option is only available to the owner.

CHANGING GROUP
-------------------
1) Right click the Service Bell and choose edit.
2) If you see a blue button called "More>>" click it.
Otherwise if the button says "<<Less" then proceed.
3) Under the "general" tab, click the "Set" button which is to the right of "Group" label.
4) Select the group that you wish to have rights to access the menus of the Service Bell.
5) Close the edit window.
6) In order for the menu to work for the group you just set, The avatar first MUST:
a) Be a member of that group.
b) Have that group tag active (above their head) on their own avatar.
c) Make sure the Service Bell is unlocked.

Decent Product
Like some of the other post, I think a notecard with allowed user would be better then having to set it to a group. This causes issues on land that is grouped but that you want people who are not in the land group to be able to use the bell as well.
Excelent Product. Only one sugestion: If there is a option to add second or more people the bell to ring. Maybe using notecard. Also chenging the blue text color will be good as not always good to be blue. Otherwise good product.
This was EXACTLY what I was looking for!! running a small Inn and when I am away on an RP, I can safely say that I'm being Paged and really have someone paging me! :P
the only thing it needs is a notecard drop in it, so someone can write a note and leave it in the bell...
