General Description
============
The Set Stream script enables the owner to authorize avatars (e.g. performers, DJ's, etc.) to easily set the parcel's audio stream to their stream's URL as specified by the owner for that avatar, simply by touching the object containing the "Set Stream" script and "Stream List" notecard.

NOTE: This is a script only. You must put the "Set Stream" script and "Stream List" notecard in an object. The design of the object is up to you.

Setup
====
CAUTION: The Set Stream script has transfer, no-copy permissions. This is because the the object the script is in and the land it is rezzed upon must have the same owner, which in many cases may be a group rather than an individual avatar. In the case of group owned land, you must deed the object containing the Set Stream script to the land group. Be sure to take it back into inventory when not using it rather than deleting it. If you delete it or transfer it to another avatar, you will lose it permanently.

NOTE: Your group role must include the ability to deed objects to the group and manipulate group-owned objects. If the parcel is owned directly by an avatar, that avatar must also be the owner of the Set Stream object. In that case, it should not be deeded to a group.

1. Drag and drop the "Set Stream" script and "Stream List" notecard into any object (the Set Stream object). The object must have its "Click to" set to "Touch" on the General tab of the Edit window. You can name the Set Stream object anything you want, but do not change the name of the "Set Stream" script or "Stream List" notecard.

2. The Set Stream object and parcel must have the same owner. If the parcel is group owned, you must deed the Set Stream object to that group. Make sure you check-mark the "Share" box and also click the "Deed" button on the General tab of the Edit window.

3. Edit the "Stream List" notecard to have a list of avatar user names and their associated parcel audio stream URL. Then save the notecard. When you save the notecard, the Set Stream script will automatically read it and initialize. See the comments at the top of the "Stream List" notecard for more details.

Operation
======
When an avatar whose user name and audio stream URL is listed on the "Stream List" notecard, touches the Set Stream object, their audio stream URL will replace the current audio stream URL for the parcel. If an avatar with that user name is not found on the "Stream List" notecard, the parcel audio stream will not be changed.

It is recommended that the Set Stream object owner and/or venue managers be included on the "Stream List" notecard so they can set the parcel audio stream back to the standard stream used when performers are finished.
