It is easiest to rez the enlosures with your viewer already in edit.Right click on any surrounding prim, and touch edit- then rez the enclosue. This will allow you to manipulate enclosure and the gate as one unit.
The gate can be left so anyone can open it, or you can leave it locked for owner only access.
Lock up your Bike, or virtual goods.
Keep a pet safe.
Isolate wild animals.
Give a bad employee a "time out!"
