Setup and Tutorial Wizard HUD Kit Version 2.5.2

General Description
===============
The Setup and Tutorial Wizard HUD Kit is a set of scripts, documentation, tools, and a tutorial/demo Wizard HUD that allows you to make simple or complex interactive HUDs for applications such as product setup, installation and operation tutorials, as well as product demos, catalogs, newsletters, advertisements, event announcements, etc., or anything else your mind can dream up.

The HUDs you create can be extensively customized to give your customers a unique, interactive product setup, configuring, tutorial, demo or other learning experience. They simply touch the face of the HUD in one of the touch sensitive areas you set up to trigger an associated action. For example, they can touch to rez your product, go to the next/previous page/step, get a help notecard, get a web link, or even be teleported directly to an associated landmark. Other touch actions include paging (no limit to number of pages), giving out notecards, landmarks, or gifts, opening a web page or avatar profile, getting an avatar's online status, sending an email, joining your SL Group, or subscribing to your Subscriber Kiosk. In all, there are 20 possible actions that can be touch triggered.

Wizard HUDs you make can be sold or given others with either copy or transfer permissions (but not both). There is also an optional unlimited distribution license (sold separately) that allows you to set the HUD's next owner permissions to both copy and transfer.

Version 2.5 and later now includes the "Setup and Tutorial Wizard HUD Kit TUTORIAL (add)" that contains setup steps and a detailed tutorial on creating your own Wizard HUDs for your products. The Wizard HUD Kit TUTORIAL also serves as an example because it was, itself, created with the Wizard HUD Kit. It is essential that you wear (add) this HUD and go through the setup and tutorial before attempting to make your own HUDs.

Permissions and License
====================
The example HUD object is full perm.
All scripts are no-mod.
The TUTORIAL HUD is no-mod, no-transfer.
Scripts not required to be in HUDs you make are no-transfer.
Scripts required to be in HUDs you make are copy and transfer but you must set next owner permissions to either copy only or transfer only (not both) prior to transferring. If you purchase the optional Unlimited Distribution (UD) licence, you can set next owner permissions to copy or transfer or both.

How it Works
==========
Think of a Wizard HUD as an interactive slide show. You create a graphic for each slide (page) with an external graphics program (e.g., Photoshop, Gimp, PowerPoint, etc.) and upload them to Second Life as textures. You also create a !Page notecard for each slide that, as a minimum, specifies the texture to show on that page. In addition, !Page notecards can also specify several different features for the page as well as about 20 different page specific touch-triggered actions as described above. This provides unprecedented flexibility to create custom, interactive setup and operation guides similar to the wizards you see for PC software.

The Wizard HUD also has options to minimize and maximize it while wearing it so that it does not interfere with viewing and interacting with the product that is the subject of the setup or tutorial. This is done by adding MINIMIZE and MAXIMIZE prim buttons to the HUD. See the Wizard HUD Kit TUTORIAL for details.
